- Steve Clark from the Embossing Die Company contacted me about testing his really neat embossing die stamps for polymer clay, leather, soap, wax and fondant.
- Made of high density plastic and can be made in almost any size and any design.
- I had him make our PcT Logo in 1/4″ x 1/4″ and in 2″ x 2″.
- Originally I planned to use the large one for fridge magnets, but I think that the 2″ size is too large for that. A 1 and 1/4″ square would be better.
- Not very expensive ($35-$40 depending on size).

If we are going to be using the stamps for clay only – do you see an advantage on using the high density plastic over normal rubber stamps?
I did a bit of reading after I posted. I gather that the plastic makes a sharper/deeper impression?
Yes Lena, sorry for the slow response… but you’re right. The high density plastic makes for a cleaner, sharper impression that can be much more detailed than a regular soft rubber stamp can be.
I noticed when you used your NeverKnead machine that the stamp was stuck in the polymer clay. Do you have any recommendations for stamp release?
Hi John, a great release you can use is cornstarch. You can put it either on the stamp or the clay itself. You can use water (not with Fimo though because it makes it sticky) or you can use a tiny bit of AmourAll.
