Polymer Clay Video Tutorials Volume 18

Video Tutorials: Holly Leaf and Berry Canes; Book Beads; Mica Shift Technique; Wire Wraps, Links and Loops:

December has arrived (wow another year almost over)… and that means the November tutorials have now been bundled up as a Back Issue Package in the Polymer Clay Library. The latest Volume to be released is listed as Volume-018. Shown above are the thumbnail images for the 4 videos included in this package:

Video-018-1 Holly and Berry Canes: These two holiday canes are versatile and very easy to make. They can be used individually in different sizes to create interesting backgrounds, details on charms and wonderful focal beads.

Video-018-2 Book Beads: This fun book shaped bead is perfect for using on bookmarks, as a gift for the booklovers in your life. In the video I show you how to shape the book bead and how to personalize it with a monogram if you choose. I even show you how to get the look of a linen hardcover to give it more realism.

Video-018-3 Mica Shift Technique: Oh the elusive mica shift! This gorgeous technique uses the mica filled pearl clays and texture plates to create the look of an image embossed in the clay, but is perfectly smooth to the touch. The technique is often thought of as tricky-to-do. But after watching this tutorial video, you will have it mastered in no time at all.

Video-018-4 Wire Loops and Links: There comes a time when you will need to make your beads into jewelry. These simple wireworking techniques are important and very useful for all jewelry makers. By learning how to make loops and links (simple, wrapped and messy wrapped), you can easily turn your polymer clay beads into charms and beaded links for rosaries,  bracelets, earrings, necklaces and more.

Wild Geranium Polymer Clay Color Palette

Also included in this Volume-018 back issue package is the A-Series recipe cards from the Wild Geranium Color Palette.

To read feedback from members who have already benefited from the videos and recipes in this Volume-018 back issue package, click here: Holly and Berry Canes | Book Beads | Mica Shift | Wire Loops and Links

And, Sneak Peak Preview Clips are available for viewing here: Polymer Clay Tutorials [Preview Videos]

If anyone else would like to add a review for any of the videos or color recipes in Volume-018, I would love to hear from you. Or if you have not yet purchased this back issue and have a question, ask away. In either case, use the comments section below.

Hello Consuelo,

Sorry that you are having problems becoming a member. There are several people from Chile as well as other countries in South America, who have set up memberships. So I know it is not your location that it causing the problem.

Paypal is the service I use to process all of the credit card transactions. They are an International company that makes it possible for someone like me in North America to accept payments from customers in most countries around the world.

If you have not already done so, you will need set up a Paypal account in your own country. You would then register or link your credit card to your Paypal account. There is no cost to set up a Paypal account. Here is the International PayPal Link to get started. In the drop down box at that page, you will see Chile as a country selection.

Once you have set up your Paypal account and linked your credit card as a funding source, you will then be able to purchase the back issue videos at my Polymer Clay Library; Become a monthly subscribing member; Or another place to start is with the Polymer Clay Basics Course.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
~Cindy

Cindy, I am really enjoying your weekly videos. Your video techniques are perfect – everything is explained clearly and your hands stay away from the camera so we can actually see what you are doing. Thanks also for the colour recipes – I haven't tackled them as yet, but they give me great ideas.

Thanks so much for sharing your talent. I just love working with the clay and still have so much to learn. In fact, where I am in Victoria, Australia, there are not many who work with the clay. I have sold about 15 of my pieces privately and am thrilled to admit that recently, a lady has asked me to display my selections in her clothing shop.

I am always looking forward to your tutorials and can't wait to try all the new techniques.

Thanks so much again,

Liz Delaney

Hi Cindy,

This is great. I subscribed to your videos on Saturday. I am somewhat new to Polymer Clay & I have been hesitant about starting out, because I was nervous. I have every tool & every piece of equipment that I could possibly need, just not the nerve to jump in. But, now is the time. I love your video's & the ones I watched yesterday are wonderful. Thank you again & I look forward to getting all of these video's.

Thanks again,
Nancy
