At midnight (EST) February 25, 2010, this fun give away event officially came to a close. There were a total of 262 comment entries. Based on a random drawing, it was Entry #28 that got pulled from the hat.
Counting down from the very top of the comments section at the January 29, 2010 contest blog post, you will see Lupe Meter occupying that Comment #28 spot. Congratulations you Lucky Girl!

I just want to say that this contest has been a wonderful thing for all of us. No matter who wins the beads, we are all winners because we have stretched our minds and tried techniques that we might not have had the courage to attempt otherwise. Not only did this encourage me to try the techniques in Volume 14, but it also inspired me to try out what Cindy teaches us every week in the latest video. I can’t tell you all how much I am enjoying polymer clay since I found Cindy – I am totally obsessed! The new pieces of jewelry that I’ve made with polymer clay beads have gotten quite a bit of attention when I wear them. I used to get a few compliments on my jewelry. Now, my jewelry causes a commotion! ~Linda-K
Whoever wins this contest will be lucky indeed! As so many have said already, though, this is one of those opportunities where everyone who participated won – I can’t tell you how many times I have gone back to the photos. WOW!!!!!!!!Lupe, congradulations!!!!!! You must be so excited!!!!!Enjoy all of Cindy’s beautiful creations. Now you can see right up front how everything is made. I know you will treasure them. I feel like I was a winner, too. I learned soooo much. I made four tutorials, e mailed to Cindy, got my picture up on the blog and uploaded pictures on Facebook. All of this was for the first time. I have Cindy, Doug, and Phaedrakat to Thank!!!!!! I couldn’t have done it without them. Phaedrakat helped me so much that I feel like I’ve known her forever. I don’t see a comment from Lupe yet — does she know that she’s won? If not, this is going to be a huge surprise! I’m so very happy for her, and of course I’m jealous, too. But I think she’s very deserving. Her pieces are beautiful, and she was very good about answering questions about her work. (She might have made Helen Breil a sale or two on texture plates, too.) She was also quick to complement others. I think everyone did a tremendous job — with their creations, with the compliments to each other, and by providing inspiration to all of us! Cindy I think the biggest CONGRATULATIONS need to go to you and your wonderful hubby.
I love Carolines idea on everyone sending in a bead for a possible next contest. I can not offer myself or I would but is there any other way we can jump in and help you with a contest Cindy. My husband might be able to help load pictures up for you maybe. I just know that you and your hubby give so much as it is and even though I didn’t get beads entered in this contest I still had a blast of fun seeing every one’s enthusiasm. It would be great if we could do another contest later down the road. We just need to get some of that work load off of Cindy and her Hubby.

Thank you everyone for the kind comments in this thread. I truly feel very honored to be surrounded by people like all of you guys. This really is an awesome community.
In regards to the questions that have come up about when the next contest will be; And about having the grand prize made up of beads sent in by you guys; And photo gallery suggestions… I’m jotted all of them down and will address stuff in a follow up post.
In the meantime, check out Lupe’s Blog (the link by my name will take you to her Feb 26 Post) She posted her gracious “acceptance speech”, as well as a few project photos from the contest.

Cindy, Any idea on when the next contest will be? I practiced all of the techniques in the first contest, but was not brave enough to submit a picture.
