“She was sewing
and gluing and beading
with glee. In hopes to get
everything under the
tree!” ~Cindy Lietz
First off, I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season, no matter how you celebrate! It has been an extremely busy, creative and productive year for us all. I am so proud of everyone’s accomplishments! The friendships and sharing has been tremendous… and I feel deeply blessed that you all have chosen to be part of this caring polymer clay community.
Now About The 5th Friday…
For those who have been around awhile, you guys will already know how these 5th Friday’s work. But for the benefit of anyone who is new, here’s the scoop.
Each month at the Polymer Clay Tutor Library, you receive 4 new video tutorials, and 4 new A-series Color Recipes. Plus, everyone subscribed to my free Guest List Newsletter also receives the weekly B-series color recipes.
Now since some months have an additional Friday, there are several weeks scattered throughout the year, that I don’t publish any videos and recipes. And this month (Dec’2010) happens to have one of those extra 5th Friday’s.
With Christmas just a couple of days away, it made sense to schedule this month’s 5th Friday for tomorrow (Dec 24). I’m sure all of you will be quite busy anyway… with your own holiday festivities and preparations.
But if you need a little something fun to tide you over, here’s a silly Crafty Christmas Poem I wrote a couple of years back. It’s still good for a smile and a giggle.
By the way, things will get back on track next week with the Vol-031-4 Video and Recipes becoming available on December 31st… the last day of the year!!!
So until then… have a safe and enjoyable holiday!
Love and Peace to All!

Happy Holidays to everyone!
It has been said many times but I want to add my best wishes to everyone, hoping that the New Year will bring a return to good health to all those who are trying to meet the challenge of “getting better”. I want to share our best gift ever, my DH, Wayne, has recovered from non Hodgkin’s Mantel Cell Lymphoma. No nasty bugs in the last two scans. We celebrate each day that we are together. I wish you all this enormous joy without the cause.
Thank you, Cindy, Doug and family (sorry forgot the names, guys) along with everyone here, even those that we don’t hear from. We know you are out there and maybe you will drop in come 2011.
PEACE HOPE HEALTH PROSPERITY JOY LOVE FRIENDSHIP
TO ALL
Oh Gosh do I feel good reading all these kind comments! It really has been quite the year and it sure has been rewarding to spend it with all of you guys. Thank You so much! I wish I was able to give each one of you a hug and wish you all a Happy Christmas personally, but since I haven’t yet finished getting ready for Christmas, I will just address a few of your questions before heading off the computer for the Evening.
@Anna Sabina: Although I am giving away some polymer clay gifts this year, most of them I had made ahead of time, since I knew this year I would be too busy to make things during the season. Many of the gifts you have seen in the gallery so nothing new to show this time.
@Brenda: It looks like you must have put a lot of effort into your snowflake text art. I am imagining then all fluffy and pretty… just how you meant them to be! :-)
@Isabel: Looks like Ken and Jocelyn answered your question, about how to add your picture (or Gravatar) to the blog here. I have linked to a reference by my name that should be helpful for you. And an added tip… when you do a search, sometimes there is a lot of information to sift through on the relevant blog pages that you end up at. So you get to a page, you can use the Find Feature in your Browser (Ctrl+F in IE and Firefox) to look for specific keywords on the page. And in regards to sharing photos of your polymer clay projects, there is Facebook Gallery Page where you can do that. Hope that helps.
@Laura Z: Nice to finally see your face Laura! Glad you figured out how to upload your Gravatar!
@Joyce M: That is incredible news! Thank you so much for letting us know. Have a wonderful holiday with your husband. PEACE HOPE HEALTH PROSPERITY JOY LOVE FRIENDSHIP to you too!
