Truly Epic!!!
Thanks Carla! I wish it was real though… that would have been real Epic! :)
The Tardis Treehouse… yeah, right :-)))
I know, wouldn’t that be so fun!!
There for a moment or two I was jealous. You almost had me fooled! :-p
To be honest, I was jealous of me! Too bad!
What fun! That was so cute Cindy; great idea Doug. Happy April Fool’s Day everyone and Happy Spring! I was just looking at my first two cherry blossoms on the tree outside the kitchen window. Your studio is looking fantastic.
Thanks Dawn! Last year at this time our tree would have bene loaded with blooms. It is such a weird year!
I had been wondering what you would do for April Fool’s Day since it wasn’t on a Friday or Monday. Love the treehouse, even if it isn’t your studio!
Thanks Freda! You have been here for a lot of silly April Fools… glad you enjoyed the treehouse!
I was thinking how in the world did she fit everything in a tree house when I know you had said that your new studio was in Willow’s bedroom! ? Good one Cindy Lietz you totally got me!!!
That was a really cute April Fools joke. I wondered what you were going to set up for us this year. It’s too bad you didn’t show the inside of the treehouse at the end of your confession. Would of love to have seen it. Happy Spring!
That would have been a good idea Dixie Ann… though it was too hard to get back far enough to film because it is so small. It is about 5 feet across and 7 feet long. About the size of a OK sized closet! :)
LOVE the magical space enhancement! You must have pull in the land of Polymer Clay magic, being able to fold space like that.
I, too, would have liked to see the inside of the real tree house at the end. Is that REALLY a cherry tree? I didn’t realize they grew so large.
Good one.
It really is a cherry tree and it was much taller when we came here. Doug took out the center trunk and trimmed the top way back when he built this thing. It is quite pretty when you’re standing on the tiny deck, when the tree is in full bloom!
You got me! Hook line and sinker…you got me! I was even showing my husband. LOL.
You don’t have to tell him it wasn’t real. Then maybe he will build you one! :)
Hahaha! I was a little confused until you started up the steps, then I remembered what day it was! Good one, Cindy!
I was looking forward to what surprise you had in mind for us. Good one.
BTW I really like the ” Anne of Green Gables” look. Really fits in with the treehouse ;-)
Cheers
Thanks Lawrence! Doug and I are watching that on CBC right now. I love this version of it!
Ha ha – you had me there for a minute! xxx
Haha, when you watch it again you can see how bad we were at hiding it. You can see the inside of the house walls and the April Fools sign, way before I say April Fools!. I was surprised that anyone feel for it at all! :)
You got me too!!!!! I was like are you sure that’s not the TARDIS cause it’s bigger on the inside! Well played Cindy, well played!
Awesome editing…had me fooled. I just love ur enthusiasm…not an April Fool’s.
Yeah I just pretended that it was actually in the treehouse and I got all excited! Glad you liked it! :)
Too funny! You got me! If I was you, I would use the tree house as a mini studio! Or a Thinkin’ place!
Dear Cindy and Doug,
I totally fell for the April fools gag.
Lmao. The tree house is pretty great,
and so is the new studio. Can’t wait
to see the tour when it is completed.
Best regards. :)
Got Me! with the April Fool….. but did you??? Have you sparked an idea??? I think you have!
I just watched the April Fool video. I was fooled. But how cool it would be to have a studio in a tree house. I would love it. I think this was the best one so far.
I know, it sure would be cool to have a studio in a treehouse! In the summer when I can have my windows open, the cherry tree’s branches come up fairly close to my window, so I could pretend I was in the tree instead of just looking at it! :)
Oh, I’m really gullible! Believed it all! Was thinking it wouldn’t do for me going up and downstairs all the time.
Lol you weren’t the only one who thought that! Glad we got you… it’s much more fun that way! :)
what a delightful performance……………..I was actually thinking while it is a delight, practical it will not be lifting supplies ex ex, so thanks for the smile
Yeah I know right? Not only that but it would have been impossible actually, to bring in my cabinets and tables into the tree house. The hole in the floor I came up through is only about 1.5 feet square and even if we hauled it up over the railing, the door is just barely wider than my shoulders. Just one of my workbenches would cover the entire floor plan and I have three… so yeah, it wouldn’t be practical at all! :)
Hi! Your tree house is really cute. It must be incredible to work there. Where can I get a storage set like yours? What’s the manufacturer of that?
Thank you very much in advance.
Kind regards,
Raquel
Hi Raquel, I guess you didn’t get to the end of the video? I really don’t have a studio in a treehouse… it was an April Fools joke. My actual studio (the one you saw) is in my daughter’s old bedroom in our house. :)
As far as the storage goes, I got mine in Canada but here is a link to the same kind of drawers on Amazon.
