Polymer Clay Videos | Graffiti Beads and Gerbera Flower Canes

Now that August has come and gone, another back issue has been packaged up and posted in the Polymer Clay Library. It is listed as Volume 15. The photo above, shows the thumbnail images for the 4 videos included in this package:
Video-015-1 Graffiti Beads: This fun, easy and great looking bead utilizes all your dried out and otherwise possibly wasted polymer clay scraps and old canes.
Video-015-2 Flower Cane Centers: These fun and funky looking beads have the urban street appeal of words on a graffiti painted wall. Use these cool beads to make a statement with the words and colors of your choice.
Video-015-3 Flower Petal Cane: In this 2nd part of the Gerbera Flower Cane Series, learn how to make a beautiful striated flower petal cane that can be used on its own or combined with a center and background, to create a full flower cane.
Video-015-4 Gerbera Flower Cane: This video is where the whole thing comes together! Take what you learned about flower cane centers, combine it with the flower petal cane and build a background for your cane with a clay extruder. Voila! A beautiful flower cane that can be used to make beads, background sheets and nail art.
Also included in this Volume-015 back issue package is the A-Series recipe cards from the Blue Hosta Color Palette.

Certainly I feel that if you wanted to learn how to make functional beautiful flower canes, this is the series to purchase.
You get the color palettes and skills to start using the gerba daisy cane, but just about any other petalled center flower can be made from adjusting the colors or the petal shape, using Cindy's base techniques and excellent design variations.
When I think of my lousy results, year after year, finally giving up after countless scrap clay efforts, that I could have come here and had the process mastered for such a small cost in such a short time, these beautiful canes the result…well, it almost makes me want to weep for that time lost.
But, I cannot. Because now I know how to do it, I can do it, and I will do it. So now, perhaps, I will shed a few tears of joy.

I agree with Jocelyn. Your flower cane is fantastic and the graffiti beads were fun… in fact. I'm going to make key chains for all the nurses charts at work with the graffiti design so we can quickly tell them apart…

What I love about polymer clay is that you can adapt it into any design you want with just a few modifications.
Jocelyn you are right about being able to create just about any petaled flower with a center you like with these techniques.
And Melinda I love your idea for personalizing the nurses charts with the Graffiti Beads.

I'm still looking for a set of words as tiny as yours are for the graffiti beads. I suppose you got them a long time ago and they don't make them anymore. Course I haven't looked online yet, just looked at three craft stores.

Cindy I am a married to your videos – till death do us part or you quit. I hope to live a long time therefore I hope you plan to continue doing this even longer. I just get more and more from each video. Please if you ever plan to go onto something else find a way for us to purchase everything we have in our library first. I go back to the very beginning time and time again and learn more each time. I don't ever want to loose this valuable information. I have a ton of books and DVDs, don't get me wrong I love them all. But there is something special about you talking me thru your lessons. If I have a question at anytime I can just email you and know you will have the answer for me asap. That is something I can't do with my books or DVD's I am so glad I found you and even happier you present these lessons in the method that helps me the most.
As long as you continue to produce I will continue to watch.

@Freda: There are lots of rubber stamps with words on them that are small, still being made. You don't need to restrict yourself to the type I had though. Any word stamps will work. Even sayings!
