If you need help in these areas, my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/crse\/01-more.html\">Polymer Clay Beginners Course<\/a> will get you up to speed quickly. There is also plenty of free information on this blog. Make sure both clays are well conditioned and of the same consistency. (You never want one soft clay and one hard clay in the same cane.) I used one section of each color of Premo Sculpey but you can also use another firm clay like Fimo or Kato Polyclay instead.
