The projects are based on techniques learned from articles here at the blog, as well as from tutorials at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beadvideos.com\/back-issues\/\" class=\"external external_icon\" target=\"_blank\">Polymer Clay Video Library<\/a>. My hope is for these <em>&#8220;Show and Tell&#8221;<\/em> features to help everyone get to know each other a bit better, thanks to this wonderfully artistic medium of polymer clay.<em><strong> And&#8230;<\/strong><\/em> by participating, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/blog\/announcing-phase-2-polymer-clay-bead-giveaway-contest\/9274\/#rules\">win some beads<\/a> too!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<table border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<hr \/>\n<\/td>\n<td>\n<hr \/>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"left\" valign=\"top\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/images\/blog\/2010-04\/16-faux-jade-cindy-graveline-2.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Faux Jade by Cindy Graveline\" hspace=\"0\" width=\"200\" height=\"620\" align=\"left\" \/><\/td>\n<td align=\"left\" valign=\"top\">\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">I love the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/blog\/polymer-clay-tutorial-multi-colored-faux-jade-technique-video\/9229\/\">faux-jade video<\/a> (Vol-023-2) so much, that I made two shades of green in one evening.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">I made the dark green first, using Stream and Butterscotch Adirondack <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/blog\/alcohol-ink-polymer-clay-craft-supplies\/2051\/\">Alcohol Inks<\/a> and verdigris embossing powder. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">I liked it, but I wanted a lighter color&#8230; so I tried using less Stream Adirondack Ink and adding Citrus Adirondack Ink, again with verdigris embossing powder.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Voil\u00e0!
