So now that you are up to speed, let me give you a bit of an introduction to the video posted further down on this page. It’s of me speaking in front of the camera about a theme that’s come up several times here at the blog over the last few weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

I talk about happy accidents<\/em>… you know when stuff does not go exactly as planned but still works out in the end.<\/span><\/p>\n

I love the fact that you don’t let the clay get the best of you! Some of the prettiest things I’ve done were because whatever I was working on wasn’t turning out the way I wanted it to!<\/em> ~Arlene<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Here’s What’s Coming up in September
\n(Volume-016) At the Members Library:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Vol 016-1 Calla Lily Bead:<\/strong><\/span> This stunning version of the classic Calla Lily bead is created using slices from the Gerbera Flower Petal Cane and the Flower Center Canes that you learned about in Volume-015. But if you did not get a chance to see the Vol-015 videos, I will also show you how to create this calla Lily bead using solid color clay.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vol 016-2 Butterfly Wing Pendant:<\/strong><\/span> This beautiful and complex looking pendant can be created easily with Studio by Sculpey Clay or the brand of your choice. You will also learn how to add a grommet for strength, into the hole for hanging your pendant.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vol 016-3 Beaded S-Hook Finding:<\/strong><\/span> In this video you will learn how to create a copper wire wrapped S shaped hook accented with one of your polymer clay beads. This makes a wonderful finding for your polymer clay jewelry pieces such as necklaces and bracelets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vol 016-4 Dogwood Flower Petal Cane:<\/strong><\/span> You will learn how to create a beautiful flower petal cane, in the shape of a Dogwood Blossom, using rich Fall colors. With this petal cane, you will then be able to create a full flower cane if you choose.<\/span><\/p>\n
