Are you longing for walks on the beach at sunset, and playing in the warm water like my children are in this beautiful photograph?<\/span> I am too!<\/span><\/p>\n

Here on the west coast of Canada, Spring is trying really hard to arrive. And the warmth of Summer is not too far off now. So here is a gorgeous color palette to get you fired up for the warm weather ahead!<\/span><\/p>\n

When choosing photos for color palettes, I always look for ones with at least four distinct colors that flow nicely together.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is something about how nature mixes her palette when creating a sunset that is very inspiring. What is particularly intriguing about this sunset (besides the sweet silhouettes of my kids playing in the water) is the deep smoky colors with the warm burst of brightness from the sun.<\/span><\/p>\n

A quick note about computer screens and color representations… everyone’s monitor is going to be calibrated differently. So that means that the clay samples in the color palette photos are only going to be close approximations. The only way to see them accurately is to mix up the recipes for real.<\/span><\/p>\n
