A Craft Podcast – Informal and Unpolished. Not Even Sanded! Let Me Know What You Think:<\/em> OK, I need your opinion. I’m looking at the possibility of starting up a free audio podcast feature here at the Beads And Beading Blog. Something where you<\/span> could click on<\/span> a button and listen to me chat about interesting stuff. Even download the episodes to your iPod for when you are out and about.<\/span><\/p>\n Every day I spend tons of time trying out new polymer clay techniques and making bead jewelry. Some of the stuff works, and some of it doesn’t. My idea for the podcast would be to invite you into my studio (in a virtual sort of way),<\/em> and give you a glimpse of my projects as they happen.<\/span><\/p>\n The podcasts would be informal and unpolished… not even sanded LOL.<\/strong><\/em> They would be just me getting excited when something works out. Or… you may even hear me get frustrated when things go wrong. Uncut and unrehearsed. This format would definitely give you a chance to “experience” how my creative brain works… and hopefully learn from it.<\/span><\/p>\n I could even take some time to answer questions you send in…. and also discuss the goings on of the polymer clay community.<\/span><\/p>\n I realize that everyone consumes information differently, so a text transcript would be included with each recording for those who prefer reading over listening. What I’m hoping for today, is to simply find out what your level of interest would be in having access to this sort of audio podcast content.<\/span><\/p>\n So please tell me what you think in the comments sections below. Would this audio podcast format work for you? Or do you think it’s a bad idea. Either way, let me know. I really want to hear from as many of you as possible about this.
