Not Your Normal Christmas Eve Poetry… That’s For Sure!<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have one of those brains where rhymes come naturally and easily. Sometimes it’s poetic. And sometimes it’s down right silly. Today’s post is a case where silliness seems to have<\/span> got the better of me. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!<\/span><\/p>\n

A Crafter’s Christmas by The Polymer Clay Tutor<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘Twas the night before Christmas,
\nAnd all through the home.
\nNot a creature was stirring,
\nExcept for the Mom!<\/span><\/p>\n

She was sewing and gluing,
\nAnd beading with glee.
\nIn hopes to get everything,
\nUnder the tree.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the presents she crafted,
\nAnd made with her love.
\nTo supplement Santa’s,
\nGifts from above.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, don’t tease the poor woman,
\nIf she’s not combed her hair.
\nOr changed from her housecoat,
\nOr got out of her chair.<\/span><\/p>\n

She’s busy right now,
\nCause she is a Crafter.
\nThere are gifts to be making,
\nThere will be time after.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once she’s all finished,
\nAnd the last bow is tied.
\nYou’ll see on her face,
\nA great swelling of pride.<\/span><\/p>\n

She made things for you,
\nAnd she made things for me,
\nHer compassionate heart,
\nIs now under the tree!<\/span><\/p>\n
