Apparently it is a real bugger to remove from your fields should it ever take hold. And according to my research it is a real problem pretty much across all of North America. In Ontario it is considered an alien wildflower. In Minnesota it is referred to as an invasive species, noxious weed and the word ERADICATE in bold letters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">As for the name Hawkweed, the plant that originated in Europe, was once believed it drinking its juice would improve eyesight making one see like a hawk. But don&#8217;t try it&#8230; herbology is not to be dabbled in by amateurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Anyway, I thought these little tid bits of info were interesting, and wanted to share them with you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Doug took the picture during our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/blog\/river-flow-palette-premo-color-recipes-vol-071-a\/18414\/\">2013 Summer PcT Roadtrip<\/a>&#8230; on the banks of the Skykomish River in Washington State.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">I do hope you enjoy this color inspiration for our Vol-071-B recipe series. And <em>Darkness<\/em> is the purpley navy blue of the smaller lower buds (the Cubs) that just may never get the chance to open like those of the Fox.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The recipes described above are from the Volume-071 B-Series Palette.
