I lined mine with 4 layers of\u00a0 file folders to insulate bottom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&gt;&gt; Convection keeps the temperature very even&#8230; no spiking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&gt;&gt; Large clearance from elements and convection heat seems to eliminate the need to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/blog\/tent-polymer-clay-baking-avoid-scorching\/17463\/\" target=\"_blank\">tent your polymer clay<\/a> while baking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&gt;&gt; Be sure to still use an oven thermometer to cross reference your oven temperature dial for accuracy. Adjust dial until the temp in oven is the proper temp for your brand of polymer clay.
