Here’s a fun fact… my husband Doug (the guy who keeps our business running smoothly and is our resident video-photography guru)<\/em>, is also a vintage car fanatic. Over the years he has restored and driven many vintage vehicles, including a couple of 1930 Model A Fords; Several Mid 50’s Trucks (Fords, Chevs and Fargo’s); plus Numerous late 60’s Muscle Cars. He actually still has the 1967 Nova Super Sport that he drove back in his high school days. All in all… he really does love his old cars.<\/span><\/p>\n

These days, the Polymer Clay Tutor<\/em> business has pretty much sucked up all of Doug’s waking hours, so he hasn’t had time to do anything in the area of vintage car restoration. In fact, his pretty gold Nova sits waiting for the day he can pay her some attention again. It will be a fun retirement project I’m sure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Any who… back in September on Doug’s birthday, there was a collection of Vintage Tin<\/em> at a local car dealership, so we popped in to take a look and snap some photos.<\/span><\/p>\n

The picture in today’s post is from that September Car show…. and is of a beautiful 1934 Ford Deuce Coupe with it’s distinctive Greyhound Hood Ornament racing out in front of the shiny chrome grill. It was such an elegant vehicle, that I couldn’t resist choosing this image as inspiration for the upcoming Vol-067 B-Series December 2013 color palette.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n
