Which reminds me, I will have to take her to that garden again this Spring… especially now that she has her beautiful new professional camera.

This photo was actually taken on the same day and may have even been from the same clump of daffodils that Willow took of the daffodil stems photo I used in the Rain Dance Palette from last month. It always amazes me how just a slightly different angle and a shift in lighting can change the way the colors look in a photo. If you take a look at the Rain Dance Palette, you will see what I mean.

The flower stems in the Rain Dance Palette look to be a much softer green than the darker shade found in the stems of today’s photo. It just goes to show that you could take a hundred different photos of the same clump of flowers and come up with thousands of color combinations inspired by them. Incredible really when you think of it! It also means that I will never run out of color inspiration for future color recipes.

I hope you enjoy the little breath of fresh air provided by this inspiring Spring palette for the Vol-058-A recipe Series.

The following Vol-058 A-series Jonquil Daffodil color palette will be added to the Polymer Clay Members Library at the beginning of March 2013:

Daffodil (Recipe 058-1A)

Jonquil (Recipe 058-2A)

Narcissus (Recipe 058-3A)

Quietude (Recipe 058-4A)

[wp_ad_camp_1]

… Daffodil is the fresh spring yellow of the petals of this Jonquil variety of Daffodil. Jonquil is the darker amber yellow found in the shaded areas of petals. Narcissus is the soft apricot orange of the cup of the blossom.
