Here at Polymer Clay Tutor, we are about to embark on a brand new PcT Roadtrip Adventure. It involves you, me, Doug, the kids, some sponsors… and a 31 foot Travel Trailer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now if you don’t know what the heck I’m talking about, here’s some links to a few comments where the story has been gradually unfolding. Clicking on the dates will allow you to see how several of the members have already been participating in this ongoing dialog):<\/span><\/p>\n

2012-01-06:<\/span><\/strong><\/a> Ken – Yes I\u2019m hoping this is the year we can start to do some touring. It would be so fun to pack up the family in an RV and head out on a road trip to meet up with some of you guys at a few different locations. Cost would obviously be a factor… but yes this is something that we are trying to figure out for 2012. Any input, suggestions, ideas, expressions of interest, etc, are welcome. As they say… “Where there\u2019s a will, there\u2019s a way.” <\/span><\/span>~Cindy<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

2012-05-23:<\/span><\/a><\/strong> My Father’s passing has caused Cindy and I to do some deep thinking about priorities in our life… you know those things that people like Stephen Covey define as “Important” but not necessarily \u2018Urgent\u2019. Back in January, Cindy mentioned about wanting to make 2012 the year that we start to get out on the road to meet up with as many of you as possible… in person. Well things are moving forward on that front. We just purchased a travel trailer that will officially mark the beginning of our PCTroadTrip Adventure. The whole family is “onboard” with the idea (including Willow and Fisher)… so you\u2019ll definitely be hearing more about this new and exciting project over the coming months. In a way, it will be part of a tribute that we can give to my Dad. Before he departed, we did have the opportunity tell him about this dream of ours… and although he had already lost his ability to communicate in words, I will never forget how his eyes lit up with joy and excitement and approval. It was a sign that we were on the right track. <\/span><\/span>~Doug<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

2012-06-08:<\/span><\/strong><\/a> The idea is for our whole family, trailer in tow, to set out on a course that will allow us to meet up with PcT members in small towns and cities throughout North America. And… if everything works out, there is no reason why we wouldn\u2019t be able to do something similar in the UK, Europe, Australia… and who knows where else. We will be looking for sponsor(s) (Michael\u2019s… hopefully your ears are burning about right now :-). Wouldn\u2019t it be great for groups of us to go shopping together at retail locations throughout the country\/continent? There are so many products in the aisle\u2019s of the big craft stores that can be used with polymer clay… and I\u2019m not just talking about the polymer clay aisle!!! It will still be a fun experience for even those who can’t meet up with us in person, since we will be filming and vlogging about the whole adventure, as it unfolds. Think reality show… only replace the New Jersey table tossing bits… with forehead smacking, a-ha moments of extreme inspiration! <\/span><\/span>~Cindy<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
