And since I taught you how to make a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/blog\/large-sculpted-calla-lily-polymer-clay-tutorial\/15539\/\">Large Calla Lily Flower<\/a> last week, it made sense to follow up right away with this stamen tutorial.<em><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><em>So&#8230;<\/em> coming up tomorrow (Friday, June 8, 2012) <\/span><span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">in the Vol-049-2 members video at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beadvideos.com\/back-issues\/\" class=\"external external_icon\" target=\"_blank\">Polymer Clay Tutor Library<\/a>, I will teach all of you how to make gorgeous Glass Encrusted Stamens that you can add to your Calla Lily Beads.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>***********************************************************************************************<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>[wp_ad_camp_1]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">&#8230;<\/span><strong> Please Note:<\/strong><\/span> A general prerequisite for all of my weekly tutorials is that you have a good understanding of the polymer clay basics, including: conditioning clay, using a pasta machine, clay blade and other simple tools, making Skinner Blends or Teardrop Blends, baking clay, as well as sanding and finishing. If you need help in these areas, my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/crse\/01-more.html\">Polymer Clay Beginners Course<\/a> will get you up to speed quickly. There is also plenty of free information on this blog. Use the search box at the top of the page to find articles on specific topics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>Supplies &amp; Tools: Video-0049-2 Glass Encrusted Stamens:<span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Small amount of Polymer Clay in stamen color of your choice. I used a little of the creamy ecru color left over from the Calla Lily tutorial, with a small amount of Sunshine Yellow mixed in. But you can use whatever color you like.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">4&#8243; &#8211; 6&#8243; (10 &#8211; 15cm) of the wire of your choice. I used 6&#8243; 20g Half Hard Bronze Wire for the demo, but you will want to choose the size and type of wire\u00a0 that is most suitable for your end design.
