Plus I&#8217;m going to give you a cool tip for making your own glossy colored glazes that can be used with this project and many others!<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>***********************************************************************************************<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>Please Note:<\/strong><\/span> A general prerequisite for all of my weekly tutorials is that you have a good understanding of the polymer clay basics, including: conditioning clay, using a pasta machine, clay blade and other simple tools, making Skinner Blends or Teardrop Blends, baking clay, as well as sanding and finishing. If you need help in these areas, my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/crse\/01-more.html\">Polymer Clay Beginners Course<\/a> will get you up to speed quickly. There is also plenty of free information on this blog. Use the search box at the top of the page to find articles on specific topics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>Supplies &amp; Tools: Video-042-2 Stamped Polymer Clay Bezels:<span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Heat-safe bezel of your choice. I used some metal bezels I got from Terry Morris at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epoxyjewelry.com\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">EpoxyJewelry<\/a>, but you can use any metal bezel you have on hand.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Small amount of polymer clay in the color of your choice. I used about a 1\/4 section of: 5038 Peacock Pearl Premo Sculpey Accents Polymer Clay.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Stamps. There are millions of types of stamps you could use for a project like this. There are mounted and un-mounted rubber stamps, cling stamps, word stamps, silicone molds, alphabet stamps and even letter stamps used for stamping metal. Once you see the examples, you can decide on what types of stamps will suit you best for this project.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Antiquing Medium. There are many options here as well. You can use an acrylic paint on it&#8217;s own, a ready made medium like the discontinued Studio by Sculpey Antiquing Medium, or you can make your own using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goldenpaints.com\/products\/medsadds\/mediums\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">Golden Mediums<\/a> &#8211; Acrylic Glazing Liquid <em>(Gloss)<\/em> or <em>(Satin)<\/em> and an acrylic based paint color of your choice. Michaels now carries the Golden line of paint products <em>(in the fine art section)<\/em>, and many other retail arts and crafts suppliers carry it as well.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Cornstarch and small fluffy brush for dusting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Rubbing Alcohol.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Weldbond Glue.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Small paintbrush and clean paper towel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The full version of the Vol-042-2 Stamped Bezels<em> <\/em>video will be posted in the Polymer Clay Members Library on Friday November 11th, 2011.
