1B:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> Gogi Berries <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n You don’t need to travel far, to discover something exotic!<\/span><\/p>\n Take for example, this lovely Rhododendron bud that my daughter Willow snapped with her camera, as inspiration for this month’s color palette. There were tons of these buds on the bush that I passed by everyday as I headed out the door. But I didn’t notice them… I was waiting for the real<\/em> flowers to show.<\/span><\/p>\n When Willow showed me this shot, I was amazed at it’s enticing beauty. The warm, rich colors reminded me of exotic foods and spices from far off lands. It was the perfect inspiration for a warm Summer\/Fall Color Palette.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>The recipes for each of the following 4 Exotic Color Palette colors will be released during the month of July 2011 in Volume-038 [B-series]. Everyone who is subscribed to my Polymer Clay Guest List<\/a> will be able to download them for free. They will be emailed to you one per week on Friday mornings.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Gogi Berries<\/em> is the vibrant Coral Red of a ripe Gogi Berry, found along the ridges of the sepals of this exotic looking Rhododendron Bud. Mustard Seed<\/em> is the warm dusty mustard yellow which is the dominant color of the flower bud. Persimmon<\/em> is the spicy Burnt Orange also found along the edges of the sepals and Ground Cumin<\/em> is the soft Tan Green seen in the older outer petals.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>The recipes described above are from the Volume-038 B-Series <\/strong>Palette.
