1B:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> Old Rose <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Today I am pleased to share with you the first color palette inspired by a photograph taken by my 14 year old daughter, Willow<\/a>. She is becoming quite the little shutterbug<\/em> and at this stage, is leaning towards a career in photography.<\/span><\/p>\n She spends hours editing photos taken of her friends and family, and now, has been happily adding flora and fauna to the mix as well. It appears that Doug’s camera skills are rubbing off on her :-)<\/span><\/p>\n We can only hope that she will share many more of her lovely photos with us in the future. Leaving a few words of encouragement for her in the comments section below certainly wouldn’t hurt (hint, hint).<\/em> The Old Fashioned Peach Rose that Willow photographed above, was planted by the deck of her Grandmother’s home last October (yes the Fall of 2010 was unseasonably warm for us)<\/em>. I think it makes the most lovely Summer palette, don’t you?<\/span><\/p>\n The recipes for each of the following 4 colors will be released during the month of May 2011 in Volume-036 [B-series]. Everyone who is subscribed to my Polymer Clay Guest List<\/a> will be able to download them for free. They will be emailed to you one per week on Friday mornings.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Old Rose<\/em> is the soft Peachy Yellow of the outer petals of the Rose. Rose Bud<\/em> is the Rosy Pink found in the inner petals alongside the Peach Rose<\/em> petals that give the flower its name. And finally, Terra Rosa<\/em> is the vibrant pink orange found deep within the bloom as the rose petals emerge and unfold from the center.<\/span><\/p>\n The recipes described above are from the Volume-036 B-Series <\/strong>Palette.
