1B:<\/span><\/span><\/strong> Pink Allium <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n Pink is such a hot color this year. In fact, Pantone’s color of the Year for 2011 is Honeysuckle Pink. So when I came across this gorgeous Pink Flower photograph that Doug took, I just couldn’t resist using it for one of this years Spring color palettes.<\/span><\/p>\n Now I did my best to properly identify the pink flower. But since I could not see the stem or leaves of the actual plant, and since I don’t remember seeing the actual beauty myself, I had to guess about it’s true name. With a little ‘Googling’ I did find some similar blossoms, so I went with the name Pink Allium for the name of this palette. If I am wrong about the taxonony, I apologize. But as the saying goes, “A rose by any other name, smells just as sweet.”<\/em> … or something like that :-)<\/span><\/p>\n The recipes for each of the following 4 colors will be released during the month of march 2011 in Volume-034 [B-series]. They will be emailed to you one per week on Friday mornings.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Pink Allium<\/em> is the soft Lavender Pink at the base of the each flower as it opens it’s heart to the Sun. Pink Petals<\/em> is the lighter softer Pink found in the dazzling tips of the sun kissed petals. China Cup<\/em> is the dusty aqua blue of the almost painted looking ground behind the blossom head. And Glade<\/em> is the muted green of the foliage of the surrounding garden.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n The recipes described above are from the Volume-034 B-Series <\/strong>Palette.
