The order has long left the studio, but since I&#8217;ve taken<\/span><!--more--><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> pictures of them all, I thought I would share another one with you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The badge lanyard pictured above was created with faux turquoise beads made from polymer clay. This faux technique involved mixing and chopping up turquoise colored clays. The clay pieces were then covered with sand and paint, before getting lumped all together to make the turquoise beads.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">It is a very messy process, but simple to do and the effect is quite genuine looking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">My lanyard beads for this project are round nugget shapes. In a previous post I showed you a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/blog\/faux-turquoise-jewelry-bracelet-polymer-clay-bead-making-projects\/169\/\">jewelry bracelet<\/a> made with both the nuggets and some cube shaped faux turquoise beads which have a different look all together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Are clay faux turquoise beads something that you would like to learn how to make?
