Custom Jewelry Tags Can Help You To Make More Money At Craft Fairs and On Etsy:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Whether you are selling your handmade jewelry on Etsy, at the local craft fair, a retail store, or to your friends… a custom hang tag will help to identify your<\/span> work and help it to get noticed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Making these jewelry tags is not difficult or expensive. And using them can have a very positive impact on your sales. <\/span><\/p>\n

Hangtags not only give you a place to put your prices, but they also give your pieces a brand. Just like the earring display cards<\/a> in yesterday’s post, hang tags can give your art jewelry personality and originality.<\/span><\/p>\n

To make the tags pictured above, I used the table feature in my MSWord software program. The sheet was divided into 5 columns and 12 rows to make 60 hang tags. Using a distressed font, the name of my <\/span>‘Funky Girl’ <\/span>jewelry line, was typed into each space.<\/span><\/p>\n

After cutting each tag apart, the edges were given a distressed look with ink just like the jewelry display cards I showed you yesterday. A hole was punched in each tag and a string was attached.<\/span><\/p>\n

You could include whatever business info you would like on your tag, though keeping things simple is usually most effective. You can use ribbon, cord or even chain to hang the tags, depending on the style of your jewelry. Little extras like charms or glass beads are nice for your higher end products.<\/span><\/p>\n

So if you are considering selling your polymer clay jewelry and beads, consider creating your own custom jewelry hang tags for them. It is an inexpensive way to bring branding to your jewelry line which will bring you more success at your next craft fair!<\/span><\/p>\n
