{"id":15945,"date":"2012-07-23T20:51:09","date_gmt":"2012-07-24T03:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/blog\/?page_id=15945"},"modified":"2012-07-23T20:51:44","modified_gmt":"2012-07-24T03:51:44","slug":"video-problems-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.beadsandbeading.com\/blog\/video-problems-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Having Problems Viewing My Web Videos?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Most video issues can be resolved by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/software\/flash\/about\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">upgrading the Flash Player<\/a> in your web browser.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>However, here are a few other things you can try as well:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> Try deleting all of the beadvideos.com and beadsandbeading.com <a href=\"http:\/\/kb.iu.edu\/data\/agwm.html\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">cookies<\/a> from your computer. Here are some instructions on how to do this with the more popular web browsers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/kb.iu.edu\/data\/ajfh.html\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">Microsoft Explorer for Windows<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/kb.iu.edu\/data\/ajfj.html\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">Microsoft Explorer for Mac<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/kb.iu.edu\/data\/ajfi.html\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">Firefox, Netscape or Mozilla<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/kb.iu.edu\/data\/amhi.html\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">Safari for Mac<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2)<\/strong> Clear the cache. Then close your browser and re-open it again. FYI: This solution almost always fixes the problem right away.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that you can have several different types of web browsers installed on your computer all at the same time. In other words, just because you install a new browser on your computer, it does mean you have to stop using the one you have been using up until now.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s some links to the various download pages for the various options. They are all free downloads:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mozilla.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">Firefox<\/a> [This is the one I use&#8230; and love]<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/chrome\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">Chrome<\/a> [This one is from Google and is very popular as well]<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/safari\/download\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\">Safari<\/a> [You can choose either the PC or Mac version]<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/windows\/downloads\/ie\/getitnow.mspx\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"external external_icon\"> Internet Explorer<\/a> [IE is my least favorite suggestion. It is well documented as the most problematic browser on the market today but many people use it which is why the link is provided here]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4)<\/strong> If none of the above suggestions work for you, here\u2019s some other questions that a helpful computer technician would want to know:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Does the problem you are experiencing happen with all of the videos at my site or just on certain pages?<\/li>\n<li>Were you able to access the non-working video page on a completely separate computer in your home or at work?<\/li>\n<li>What is your internet connection speed?
