Never Burn Your Polymer Clay Ever Again

NeverBurn Additive - Polymer Clay TutorVideo #727: This new product extends the baking range by 25 degrees on either side of the recommended bake temperature!

Here in the PcT Test Lab, we are often sent products from all around the world to test for use with polymer clay.

Recently we were sent a mysterious package from China containing a product that I had never heard of before. In fact I couldn’t even read the label on the packaging.

But once I started going through the materials specs sheet included in the package, I got VERY excited about what this product can do!

The product is called NeverBurn… and after mixing this additive into your raw polymer clay, it actually extends the baking temperature range for any brand of polymer clay, so that you never have to worry about burning issues ever again!

No more watching your toaster oven thermometer, just waiting to jump into action if the dial even moves even the slightest off the mark.

Finally a product that takes the stress away from baking polymer clay.

Watch the video to learn more about this amazing product! Make sure to keep viewing to the very end of this short 8 minute clip, so that you will gain a true understanding of how important this product is for clayers of all skill levels…

Hi Cindy, Ha! didn’t get me this time :-)
However, talking about baking at a higher temp. I’ve seen on the web that , that is how they get the Pardo translucent so clear. They said that it will smoke a bit while baking. And I don’t remember the temperature they mentioned.
Can you check this out? And would it work with other brands of translucent as well. Especially
    Premo.
    Thanks
    Deni

I wondered what you’d come up with, Cindy! Very good :-D

  8. Denise Osborne, 01 April, 2016

Yes, I’m a regular and knew right away it was a joke but like a traffic accident I had to gawk to see what’s up.

  9. Chrissie F, 01 April, 2016

I’m a regular too AND I knew it was April 1st but I still fell for it! Major “Oh, duh!” moment.
Cindy, you are altogether too convincing LOL. Here I was even trying to read the name on the fake invoice! One of your better ones, you scallywags :-))

  10. Dorothy H, 01 April, 2016

GRRRRR! I was so excited that I wouldn’t burn clay in my fickle changeable temperature toaster oven ever again!! You really got me!!! I will forgive you, because I have had so many good things from you.

  11. Fran V, 01 April, 2016

    Cindy,

Sorry to say, you didn’t get me. I have actually been looking forward to today to see what new joke you came up with, and it was a good one.

But you got me in a way: I am an early riser, and live on the east coast. First thing I did this morning was look for your April Fool’s video. Boy was I bummed when there wasn’t one! (it may have been 4:30 or so my time, middle of the night for you. What was i expecting?! That you stay up all night for this?) I thought “oh, no, she can’t be discontinuing that tradition!!!! What a heart breaker.”

So I was thrilled and relieved a few hours later when I got your email. Funny and convincing video. You always throw in enough detail to make it seem very real.

    Thanks, Cindy.

  12. Sandra N, 01 April, 2016

I did not get burned….I know you by now, but great joke. I look forward to your April Fools Joke!!!

  13. Pat Freeman, 01 April, 2016

I’m a newbie and you really fooled me!!!

I couldn’t wait to hear where to buy it!!!

  14. Gayle Thompson, 01 April, 2016

I’ve been around long enough to know your “April Fools” humor! I expected something really cute from you! Good job!

  15. Anna Sabina, 01 April, 2016

I am so happy you were able to squeeze in an April Fool’s Day video. I know you fold re really busy with the new website. I love the last comment that we “Got Burned” The best part of the official Lab Coat and nerdy scientific safety glass.

    You made my day.

  16. Barbara Knight, 01 April, 2016

You got me too! I was relieved to find out it wasn’t out of my price league!
    Too good! ????

  17. Betty Bolerjack, 01 April, 2016

Haha! Good one this year, Cindy. I had to come see what April Fool’s joke you had cooked up! Nope! I didn’t get burned! LOL

It’s fun to watch you do these and try so hard to keep a straight face. How many retakes do you have to do to get it without cracking up? I’d never get through something like that! LOL Oh, and I had figured out that it was probably chopped up translucent clay. ;-)

  18. Vickie S., 01 April, 2016

RATS~!! You got me – LOL. What a great idea for a product tho – too bad it’s not real. This is my first April Fools day with you but I will be prepared for next year. :) Thanks for the funny joke!

  19. Maria C, 01 April, 2016

I … am… such… a … fool! Cindy, you do it to me every time!!!

  20. Julie A, 02 April, 2016

You got me! I was so excited. Definitely BURNED

  21. Victoria P, 02 April, 2016

    Hi Cindy,

First I just want to say that you totally got me with the NeverBurn.
Secondly, I have a question: I mostly work with Fimo (soft and professional) but I also own a few blocks of Premo which I also really like. However, I am working on quite a big project and it involves using both Premo and Fimo but I don’t want to underbake my Premo because I usually bake at 110 degrees celcius, what should I do?

P.S* I need my pieces to be quite strong because they will be used and handled and tossed quite a bit.*

  22. Laurie W, 03 April, 2016

HA! I was so on to you! You are a clever one though!

  23. Cheryl H, 03 April, 2016

I almost got burned. Took me a minute into the video to realise the date. Great video; I really don’t know how you manage to keep a straight face and do the whole demo! Thanks!

  24. Catalina, 04 April, 2016

I had to go looking to find this!! I thought you didn’t make one this year!! Loved the idea!! Too funny! You are becoming quite an actress!!

  25. Dixie Ann, 07 April, 2016

Here it is April 8th and I am just now watching this video. Didn’t see an April Fools one so naturally I thought this was the real deal. You got me good this year Cindy. Doggone it, I sure wish someone did make a product like it. A mistake proof clay!

  26. Natalie Herbin, 02 April, 2017

Just watched your April fools video and as soon as I saw the size of the tree house I knew it was an April fools joke but a good on for those who were not familiar with what you guys have pulled in the past??

  27. Cindy Lietz, 03 April, 2017

Thank you Natalie! It was fun to do this one. Thanks for being around all these years!
