This blog is a community meeting spot for polymer clay artists of all skill levels. It is a place for learning and applying new techniques that have been taught over at the Polymer Clay Tutor Video Library.
And for everyone’s benefit, enjoyment, inspiration… there is a Facebook Photo Gallery that makes it quick and easy to share pictures of your polymer clay projects.
The selection of Vol-027-3 Wire Wrapped Ring Images showcased below, is just a small sampling from the 402 Facebook photos uploaded to date. Way to go guys! As your Tutor, it makes me very proud to see how much everyone is accomplishing.
Thank you Cindy! I knew you would make it soooooo much easier to understand. I get it now! I’ve watched so many other people demonstrate this technique but it never made sense to me. I had a mental block. But your teaching method is so clear and logical and I can also replay the video anytime I need clarity. Fantastic! ~Cara-L

Wow, it’s great to see these rings up close & personal like this! Beautiful job, guys! I feel so proud of the work everyone is doing…Cindy must be thrilled to be the tutor of such a talented bunch! I love how some members have added their own spin to the tute, making it their own…
Thanks, Cindy…for such a fun & simple tute (with complex-looking results!)
What interesting additions to the rings. It’s great to have a tutorial that you can change to your own liking as most of your tutes are. BTW, a misprint on the 8 rings. They were made by Freda K, not Fred.

Here is a link to the last update where I posted a September 8 message from the software developer: “It’ll be fixed within the next 12 hours.” …Not! Sorry for the in convenience everyone. And thanks for your patience. ~Doug

I agree with Kat. This tutorial was a fun learning experience. I played for a whole month trying different designs with this technique.

Holy cow! These are super! It looks like everyone has been doing these for a long time! I got to try this. I guess I’m getting behind again.
Wow, the variations on this technique are inspiring! Amazing work, hope mine look half this good when I try this out. :)
Way cool, love them all. You guys rock. Haven’t tried this out yet, but am itching to do so. Lovely work, thanks Cindy for making it so clear. I can’t wait from Fridays, counting the days off till Friday, and then check in here first thing. Cool. Love the texture sheets tut of today, yummy… let me get busy.
Another great tute Cindy & Doug. Still haven’t found the Mold Maker but am accumulating a good collection of these Sculpey tools. I have the ones you use in this tute and find them so useful.
You guys really rock with these fantastic wire wrapped rings. They are all so different in style but so beautiful. It would be difficult to choose a favorite.
