Thanks Danielle for the mention. I appreciate it! There is another discussion about this polymer clay sale over at the "Bead Magazine Review" link up by my name above as well. Hobby Lobby has marked down their prices too. Yippee!

Thanks for the tip Lori! I know that's weird when the small packages are cheaper than the large ones. I guess they figure if you're that serious about clay you'll pay for it!

I usually buy my Premo online at Joann.com. They have sales where it is as low as $1.29. It is funny though because they put the one pound blocks on sale too but they work out to be higher in price than just buying 6 - 2 ounce blocks. Go figure.

Thank you everyone for the info! I too have noticed the suspicious lack of 99 cent Premo at Michaels lately! Boo Hoo! It's too bad they are the only place to buy clay around here. Looks like I may have to order some 1 pound blocks online since I don't like paying full price and it is cheaper buying in bulk.

Thank you all for the great comments! I really appreciate them!

I've purchased Premo at Michael's recently. Some was rock hard (baked in the truck, I think) and I returned it. Some was soft but not mushy, but I did notice that the more I worked with it, the mushier it got. I tend to leech my clay anyhow because I'm always leaving it on paper and forgetting about it. I think a good leeching make it easier to work with in the long run.

I am a huge fan of Premo! But like others have already mentioned, I haven't bought any since Michael's stopped selling for 99 cents. I have a pretty good surplus of it for now and I run into some that is sticky and mushy and some that just crumbles in my pasta machine.

On a positive note Jo Ann's was selling Fimo and Fimo soft for 99 cents a few weeks ago, and I went and bought some. Seemed much better then I first remembered. Also there was some Studio By Scupley colors that were on clerence for 99 cents. I had been wanting to try it, but was not willing to pay the price until now. I made a few things with it, and in my words it is "petable". I just like feeling it. But new note to myself, it does not mix well with Premo or Fimo. It leaves little black dots every where.

Been exploring making some new beads (Skinner blend Stripe canes, into beads) and Premo seems to work the best! *Sigh* Why did Michael's have to ruin such a good thing! = )

I am not sure how many of you have a Hobby Lobby store in your area but all polymer clay is 30% off this week. Not as good as 99 cents but better than full price; works out to be $1.50 for regular and $1.59 for pearls and metallics.

I just bought a couple of packages.....and was a little shocked to see it "crumble" through my pasta machine. I have never had this problem before. I was hoping it was just a bad batch....and I am glad I only bought a couple packages!! It took extra conditioning....but after it was fine. I just didn't care for the extra time involved!!
