Polymer Clay Color Recipes | Alpine Succulent Flower (Premo)
1B: Succulent Red

This lovely succulent plant and the fuzzy green of the surrounding leaves, is just a sample of what we had the opportunity to photograph on our recent family vacation up to the alpine meadows of Whistler, British Columbia. Yesterday's photo of the Siberian Wallflower was also taken on that same trip.
Today's polymer clay color palette is coming just in time to be used in some of your Christmas Jewelry projects. The recipes for each of the following 4 colors will be released during the month of October in Volume-017 [B-series]. Everyone who is subscribed to my Polymer Clay Guest List will be able to download them for free. They will be emailed to you one per week on Friday Mornings throughout the month of October:
- Succulent Red (Recipe 017-1B)
- Frosted Leaf (Recipe 017-2B)
- Succulent Green (Recipe 017-3B)
- Forest Floor (Recipe 017-4B)
Succulent Red is the deep luxurious red 'petals' of the succulent plant. Frosted Leaf is the frosty green color of the fine hairs covering the leaves surrounding the larger more fleshy succulent. Succulent Green is the deeper rich green at the base of the succulent 'petals'. Forest Floor is the green tinted black of the soil and ground cover.
The recipe names listed above are from the Volume-017 B-Series. They are free for everyone who is subscribed to my Polymer Clay Guest List. @Bette – No changes with the email system on my end. Everything has been going out normally over the last several weeks. Sounds like you are having a similar problem to what ClayCass experienced this week as well. You can follow the link by my name to see the response that I provided for her.

Bre – The reason you did not find those previous B-Series color recipes is because they are not currently posted. I will be coming up with a way to make them available, bust just haven’t had time to get that done yet. Stay tuned.

That would be great Cindy – I've lost a lot of the recipes because first my computer corrupted the files, then stopped working altogether. I'm now using a new laptop and have downloaded all the paid member recipes but can't get the free ones.
And I collected ALL of them, treasure hunts and all!

Cindy, I have been having trouble getting the free recipes, too. I thought I just haven't figured it out yet. I might be too impatient. I make sure I'm logged on and still can't get them.
Now that Christmas is done I figure I could get back to MY projects! Have you worked with the glow in the dark clay? I have been given a request to make rosary beads out of the glow in the dark clay.

I just went to the site and put in my email again. It worked for me. It was just like signing up again for the free stuff.
The glow in the dark rosary beads sound fun. Do you suppose they will glow in the low lignts of the cathedral? Maybe they would be easier to find at night if you had a "rosary crisis". Hmm…

@Catalina: Regarding the part of your question about the "free recipes", these B-series recipes are not archived in the members library. Currently they are only being sent out via email in the Friday Newsletter. Also it
is only the A-Series color recipes that are available in your library account when you are logged in. Make sure you are signed up for the Polymer Clay Newsletter (link by my name) and you should start receiving those B recipes. As far as working with glow in the dark clay, I haven't yet. I do have some, but just haven't tested it out. Something I definitely need to get to. Glow in the dark rosary beads sound cool. The clay should work the same as translucent so why not give it a try?
@Bette: Thanks for answering Catalina! It is very helpful, especially now that things are getting so busy that it may take me a bit to get stuff answered!!
