[...] Article Trackback: Kids Scientist Costumes [...]

ADDED NOTE: For anyone who is wondering, this type of "automated" comment is know as a trackback or a pinback. It's where another blog references a specific post on my blog (in this case my Bead Making Polymer Clay Spooker article above). The reference includes a link back from their web site to mine. If these trackbacks are identified by a real person (i.e. an author's name is identified), AND if the trackback article provides relevant information that is on topic, I allow them. That is the case here. Although Roberta's article has nothing to do with polymer clay bead making, it does provide ideas for mad scientist costumes to go along with the theme of this page. Thanks Roberta for sharing. ~Cindy

Sorry Susan, I was not able to get a pictyre of the Killer Bee costume before my daughter buzzed out the door. And I wasn't able to convince her to dress up again for a photo opp. The costume did turn out very cute though. Thanks for asking!

Oh, how envious I am. I have tossed out or donated so many wonderful costume worthy outfits. My hubby and I lived in a small apartment for years, and gradually our moms both said our junk had to go (who can blame them). My hubby still has his "nerd" costume that we made several years ago and I always do something kooky for the holiday, but I am so kooky everyday, that people don't know if I'm dressed up or not. The mad scientist is awesome! Will we be seeing a shot of the Killer Bee?

Take care, Susan

@Tina: Thanks for the tag!

@Angela: Thank you for your comment! I'm not against people who want to buy costumes either... makes a ton of sense when you are really busy!

We refer to our dress-up trunk as the 'Tickle Trunk' named after the Canadian Kids show, Mr. Dress Up, who had a 'tickle trunk' full of costumes!

Linked over from Island Life...

Love that little mad scientist. I agree with you 100%...homemade costumes are SO much fun! (Not that I have anything against people who buy them "off the rack"...it just doesn't appeal to me) What a fun thing to have started a trunk full of costume treasures! I'll bet your kids have a ball dressing up!
