Hi Shari,

Learning how to bake polymer clay is one of the most important things you need to learn right away. Unfortunately, many beginners end up wrecking their projects and become discouraged because no one taught them proper baking techniques.

My Polymer Clay Beginners Course will get you up to speed quickly with proper baking instructions plus all of the other stuff you should be learning about as well.

If you like, you can also read about what others are saying about the course at this link: Polymer Clay Beginners Course (Feedback)

Or... there is also lots of free information about proper baking techniques posted throughout this blog as well. You can follow the link by my name as a starting point.

Hope this helps,
~Cindy

I am new to working with polymer clay and have found your tips and video tutorials very helpful. The biggest problem I have is with the baking process. I'm following the manufacturer's recommendations but am not pleased with the results at all. I've played with all the major brands and have had the same results, regardless of which brand I use (which leads me to believe my problems are caused by the user!). Once cooled, my pieces are rubbery and pliable - not hard like I was expecting. The thicker pieces seem to be harder. Some pieces can be bent and cracked within weeks of completing. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Shari

Hi Everyone, I have done alot of the Brain cane in alot of different skinner blends (before Cindy's Teardrop Method) they are very beautiful. I love this cane and all the possibilities it holds for the person whom created it. Lynn watts
