5 Tips For Finding Polymer Clay Instructions and Info At This Blog

How To Effectively Navigate The Polymer Clay Tutor Web Site In Order To Find Stuff Quickly:
The number of polymer clay tutorials, projects, tips and instructions is growing daily here at the beads and beading community. There are well over a 1000 pages now. So I figured it was time to outline some navigation tips that should help you to locate quick answers to your 'how-to' questions.
1) Home: The home page link in the top header bar is a great place to start. By manually scrolling down the home page, you will see thirty blog post titles, excerpts and pictures starting with the most recent article at the top. At the bottom of every excerpt is a number that lets you know how many comments have been made there. This will tell you at a glance where the biggest 'buzz' is at. At the very end of all 30 entries is a 'Next Page' link that will serve up the next 30 posts in chronological order.
2) Google Custom Search Box: Located right under the header bar at the top left of every blog page, is a keyword search box. It uses Google's powerful technology to find content within the pages of this web site. Type in a word or simple phrase like 'Dremel tool' or 'fingerprints' or 'Premo' and a list of related articles links will appear. Now that the site is so large, this search box is a very handy tool. I highly recommend you get into the habit of using it.
3) Topic Categories: In the Left Column of every page on this blog you will see a list of links under the 'Topic Categories' sub-heading. This section helps to narrow down the posts into broad topic groups. For example, clicking on 'Supplies' will bring up a list of blog posts that talk about the supplies you need for making polymer clay beads. Clicking on 'Finishing' will take you to a list of posts on sanding, polishing and protecting your handmade beads. These categories are an excellent place to go if you are wanting to learn more about certain types of polymer clay instructions.
4) Tag Navigation: Also in the left column on every page of this blog is the 'Tag Navigation'. Here you will find a cloud of links to the most commonly used keywords used in the posts and articles. The larger the font, the more popular the tag. Go click on a few of them to see what happens.
5) Commenting and Contact Cindy: If after searching around you still can't find the answer to your problem, there is always the 'Contact Cindy' option in the orange header bar at the top of every page. But for the quickest response from me, it's best to post your question in the comment section of a blog article page that is a close topic match for your question. So in other words, ask something about caning on an article that has polymer clay or Fimo Canes in the title. Similarly, something to do with polishing beads should be added to the comment section of a post in the Polymer Clay Finishing Topic Category. Plus… if you think you know the answer to another reader's question, please feel free to comment about it. This makes the site a wonderful learning environment for everyone!
Well I hope these 5 Navigation Tips were helpful for you! If you have any other "finding stuff" suggestions that have worked well for you, please share them below.
